The rise of AI.

Driving the global demand of electricity.

Accurate sensor measurement is key.

The demand for AI technology and machine learning technology has greatly increased energy and water consumption. That's why it's never been more important to effectively manage these critical resources to ensure long-term sustainability within the data center industry. We believe  that effective management starts with accurate measurement.

According to the IEA, mission-critical data centers are responsible for 2% of global electricity demand, which is expected to double by 2026. In the US alone, demand is projected to be 6% by 2026.  Critical cooling requirements needed to achieve stable computing processing efficiency makes up 40% of this demand. With such a large and increasing draw on resources, PUE and WUE are arguably the most critical metrics for data centers.

Control of PUE and WUE can only be understood and achieved through accurate measurement by calibrated sensors. Data center owners and operators can no longer focus on calibrating end devices or BMS controls alone, as this leads to inaccurate data. As a result, sustainability and PUE/WUE rely on an end-to-end approach to sensor systems within dynamic operating environments.
